Abstract
In the field of interventional radiology, treatments have become more sophisticated to deal with various diseases, so study times tend to be longer as a result. For this reason, there is a growing interest in dose management. With the recent publication of diagnostic reference levels, such as DRLs2020, there is a need for a less invasive and less exposed system. Therefore, we have developed Dose-eye Live, an endovascular treatment support software that calculates and displays a patient’s local dose in real time. This function has the following features:
(1) Local dose management during analysis is achieved by calculating the entrance surface dose of the patient model.
(2) The avoidance angle of the hot spot is easily recognized by displaying the dose on the angular axis.
