The figure shows the analysis of oligosaccharides in beer using separation by the partition method, which can be used to analyze sugars from monosaccharides to decamers, and detection with a differential refractive index detector.
A liquid medium flows through the flow channels of a high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC). When a sample is introduced into the instrument, the components of the sample are separated in a column and the amount of each component is measured by a detector.
Use a system incorporating a differential refractive index detector for this analysis.
