JASIS 2012

JAIMA EXPO / SIS (Analytical Instruments & Solution Expo / Scientific Instruments Show) has been renamed JASIS.

Shimadzu plans to exhibit a wide array of products to meet a diverse range of applications in such areas as energy, the environment, and food safety.
Specifically, the Shimadzu exhibit will feature next-generation mass spectrometers equipped with Shimadzu's proprietary Ultra Fast technology, such as the GCMS-TQ8030 Triple Quadrupole Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer, Japan's first triple-Q mass spectrometer, the LCMS-8040 Triple Quadrupole Liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer, which offers five times higher MRM sensitivity than previous systems, and the LCMS-8080 model, developed to achieve high sensitivity with detection limits in the low femtogram range.

In addition, Shimadzu will include an exhibit of new fields where Shimadzu is focusing their efforts and give seminars on cutting-edge technologies and measurement techniques.
We look forward to seeing you at the exhibition.

Theme-Based Exhibitions

Theme-based exhibits will introduce new products that meet the needs of customers in areas where Shimadzu has been focusing their efforts.

Material Chemistry and New Materials Research Provide a More Comfortable Life

We will exhibit technology for analyzing the functionality of anti-reflective coatings and conductive films used in smart phone touch panels, and comprehensively evaluating carbon fiber composite materials used to strengthen and reduce the weight of automobiles and aircraft bodies.

New Possibilities in Medicine from Clinical Research and Drug Discovery to Quality Control

Exhibits will feature technology that enables the early diagnosis of cancers and addresses applications in clinical medicine or forensics, as well as technology for supporting applications ranging from biopharmaceutical R&D and drug discovery to manufacturing and quality control.

Ensuring Safety and Peace of Mind

This exhibition will include state-of-the-art instruments and measurement techniques for supporting environmental conservation applications, such as detecting foreign matter and impurities in foods, variety identification, analysis of mycotoxins and residual pesticides, and analyzing the quality of public water supplies.

Supporting the Development of Alternative Energies

This exhibition will feature evaluation technology used in R&D and manufacturing of solar batteries, lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, artificial photosynthesis, and biomass energy.
