Observation Examples of Living Organisms
Observation of Collagen
Collagen is a primary component of skin, bone, tendons, and connective tissues. It is the protein that exists in the largest quantities in mammals. Salmon collagen was extended over mica, and was observed in dynamic mode.
The raw collagen fibers with their cross striations, as well as their constituent collagen molecules were fully observed.
