Observation Examples of Metals

Grain boundary of the surface of sensitized SUS304 was observed. AFM topographic image(left) and KFM electric potential image (right) were shown. Potential of boundary region was measured about 80mV higher than that of the matrix. It may reflect the differnces of the structure and chemical composition.
