Isotactic Polystyrene Crystals With approximately a 10 nm thickness these crystals are thinner than the string-ball shaped macromolecules. This is an extremely special environment for macromolecules. In this condition the distribution of the macromolecule chains is suppressed, and the crystals themselves take on beautiful forms.
