Q: I currently have a standard SPD-20A temperature-controlled cell. If I replace the parts with those for a semi-micro cell, can I use this cell as a semi-micro cell?

A:

With a semi-micro cell, not only is the inner diameter of the inlet tubing smaller than that of a standard cell, the cell capacity is smaller. Replacing the parts does not allow a standard cell to be used as a semi-micro cell.
