SCORE PRO Advance, Premium Imaging Technology for Shimadzu R/F systems
"SCORE PRO Advance" is the advanced digital image processing technology for fluoroscopic examinations which has been developed based on the know-how accumulated in our angiography systems and now applied to our high-end R/F systems.
It reduces background noise in real time to emphasize only the line structure of the target object. SCORE PRO Advance offers the balanced optimization of fluoroscopic image quality and exposure level in various fluoroscopic examinations, such as cholangiopancreatoscopy, barium swallow and other GI studies.

Low Exposure Level and Optimal Image Quality
As a result of image quality improvements, SCORE PRO Advance can provide equivalent image quality at lower exposure levels.
Also, the significant reduction of image lag can minimize the lowering of visibility even at low pulse rates. That means exposure rates can be reduced even further by decreasing the pulse rate setting for each examination or procedure. It's particularly effective in reducing the x-ray exposure of physicians during longer examinations such as ERCP.
The Latest Processing Technology
Motion Tracking Noise Reduction
By performing block matching between frames, and recursive processing between the most matched blocks, noise is efficiently reduced without any lag.
Line Detected Edge Enhancement
SCORE PRO Advance emphasizes only the line structure of the target object without enhancing background noise. It minimizes any artifacts that normally occur with multiple image parametric equalization, which allows more natural and intensive edge enhancement.
Real-time Processing
Such complex image calculation processes are performed on Shimadzu’s unique high-speed image processing board that prevents delays in displaying images, which can interfere with examination procedures.
*In fluoroscopic system, SCORE PRO Advance is standard for SONIALVISION G4 LX edition (Multi-purpose R/F System) and FLUOROspeed X1 edition (Patient-side R/F system).
