In order for the Shimadzu Products to perform its maximum output stably at your facilities, Shimadzu continuously makes efforts to protect our products from dangerous software attacks by the computer malware or viruses which are increasing everywhere in the fields, while the customers are also expected to carry out all possible IT security measures to the products.
Many of our digital imaging systems are equipped with the Anti-virus S/W with “White-List” method protection, which shall allow only our authorized programs to work on our systems and block any other unknown programs. 
Also, our systems are well designed to support the hospitals to fulfill the HIPAA(the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) requirements for the patient information privacy, which is also becoming more and more important subject nowadays.
