Mao Saigo, a professional golfer with Shimadzu Corporation, placed second in the CPKC Women’s Open, an American women’s golf tournament held at Earl Grey GC in Calgary, Canada, from July 25 to 28. Saigo improved her score by 11 shots on the third day and started the final day in 3rd place, 5 shots behind the leader. In the final round, she improved her score by 3 with 5 birdies and 2 bogeys to hole out at 11 under par. Although she fell two shots short of victory, it was her best finish on the U.S. Tour.
