Solving Challenges Together

Based on the slogan “Evolution, Innovation, Transformation - Solving Challenges Together,” the Shimadzu exhibit focused on four areas: improving examination efficiency, making the invisible visible, reducing operator workloads, and Advanced Healthcare solutions, based on Shimadzu's core technologies in analytical science and medical diagnostic imaging.

Shimadzu showed various patient-friendly and operator-friendly products which help shorten examination times. In addition, we demonstrated our latest Advanced Healthcare technologies which are used in research and development for the prevention, very early diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of diseases such as cancer and lifestyle-related illnesses.

In the booth, visitors were able to move the mobile X-ray system and experience its responsiveness and mobility for themselves. They used our 3D simulation tool, Room Layout Planner to help them imagine how the product could be placed in their own X-ray room environment.

Comment from the Person in Charge

The total number of visitors to ITEM increased by 53 % from the previous year, indicating that participating in actual exhibitions is starting to make a comeback. The Shimadzu booth attracted a large number of visitors who were able to get hands-on experience with our new products and technologies. I believe that they were able to see and experience the new clinical value that Shimadzu offers.
