Shimadzu Corporation received the SDGs Strategy/business value Prize at the 6th Nikkei SDGs Management Awards. Nikkei SDGs Management Awards recognize advanced companies that have both contributed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations and enhanced corporate value through their business. Based on the results of the Nikkei Comprehensive Sustainability Survey, a judging committee comprised of external experts comprehensively evaluates initiatives of 887 companies, mainly listed companies, that respond to the survey. The SDGs Strategy/business value Prize, which is a category award, selects companies that excel in policy, reporting and communication, promotion system and internal penetration, contribution through business, and business performance. This is the first time we have received this award. In the SDGs Management Survey, which comprehensively evaluated the results of the Nikkei Comprehensive Sustainability Survey, we received the highest five-star rating (deviation value of 70 or more).

作为支持我们业务活动的一项举措，我们正在根据 2023 年修订的岛津集团 CSR 采购指南，与我们的合作伙伴建立合作伙伴关系。该指南定义了岛津集团和供应链中的公司应共同解决的项目，以履行我们在五个领域的社会责任：人权和劳动、健康和安全、环境、道德和 BCP（业务连续性计划）。
