The MALDI EasyCare option for the MALDI-8000 series benchtop linear MALDI-TOF mass spectrometers allows users to perform maintenance, including manual clean of the ion optics and automated tuning, to restore optimal performance and reduce the need for engineer call-outs.
The entire process is guided by an easy-to-follow software wizard, with no technical experience required. MALDI EasyCare increases uptime and enhances productivity in laboratories. The combination of the compact, eco-friendly benchtop system with class-leading performance, now enhanced by the easy-to-use MALDI EasyCare utility, further strengthens the MALDI-8000 series’ role as analytical workhorses, ideal for teaching, quality control and research laboratories.

Manual cleaning of ion optics is safe, quick (period from venting to ion optics removal is approx. 10 mins), easy-to-do requiring no tools (except single-point use of flat blade screwdriver) and no technical expertise due to full guidance by software wizard. All cleaning materials provided.
