System Linkage Option - Features
Seamless Linkage with Informatics Systems
LabSolutions receives an analysis schedule from an informatics system and implements a batch analysis, and when the analysis is completed, automatically transfers the resulting analytical data to the informatics system. Accordingly, manual transcription mistakes and data falsification can be avoided.
Furthermore, LabSolutions i-QLinks, which is specialized for test information management, enables the management of test items implemented in multiple analyses and the automatic creation of test reports and result reports (CoA).
The system can be linked seamlessly with a LIMS or other informatics system, enabling laboratory digitization and increasing workflow efficiency.
Accommodates Output in Internationally Standardized Data Formats
In recent years, there have been an increasing number of experiments in standardization to avoid reliance on data formats differing by manufacturer and software program.
The data obtained with LabSolutions can be output in a variety of formats. The system is even compatible with output in the data format specified by the Allotropeā¢ Foundation, an international consortium consisting of worldwide pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, analytical instrument manufacturers, and software companies. Further, during data acquisition and data analysis, conversion to multiple data formats can be implemented automatically. As a result, the data obtained can be converted to a variety of data formats, enabling data utilization by systems regardless of manufacturer or software program. This accelerates the research and development process and enables researchers to focus on more important work.

Integrated Management of Data from a Variety of Analytical Instruments
With LabSolutions, analytical results from a variety of non-Shimadzu analytical instruments as well as sample information related to the data, information on qualitative and quantitative results, and PDF reports can be imported automatically to the LabSolutions database. This enables not only the digitization of analytical results, but also the creation of reports combining the results from multiple analytical instruments. The software is even compatible with the creation of data archives and backups, and can transfer data to a LIMS or other informatics system automatically. Using the multi-instrument data registration option provides support for the utilization of data in accordance with laboratory operations, as well as efficient and secure integrated data management.
Note: For details on the analytical instruments supported, contact your Shimadzu representative.
