Kyo-Yuzen (dyeing)

I am very grateful that kyoyuzen is being used in modern, cutting-edge medical systems. In creating these gowns, my hope is that kyoyuzen will play a role in putting women at ease, especially in situations where they might feel stressed about having an X-ray or breast cancer examination.
Kimonos decorated with kyoyuzen are familiar and very appealing to women. Combining such traditional designs with contemporary examination equipment not only suggests new approaches to the instrument but also makes us think anew about the different ways that kyoyuzen dyeing can be used.
