These PET (positron emission tomography) systems are designed for head and breast scans. Compared to full body PET systems, they can obtain images at higher sensitivity and resolution, and there is no need to worry about additional exposure to radiation from CT scans.
Breast cancer screening for women is done at turning points in their lives, such as during a health check prior to marriage. PET scans can be used to check for Alzheimer’s in the elderly. These two-in-one PET systems are very patient-friendly and enable painless examinations. Custom-made kyoyuzen dyeing patterns have been added to this special unit.
Pink ribbons with Japanese patterns express our prayers for the good fortune of women over their whole lives through the use of various kissho patterns and noshi designs. Special yuzen dyeing patterns were created in collaboration with the artist in keeping with the idea of a fresh start and have been dyed by hand. Combining this with a pearl tone finish, which has excellent resistance to light and stains, creates a bed cover with functionality not found in conventional kimono fabrics.
